Endangered species: Giant Panda, giant panda's live in central China, in the mountains. The giant panda's live in leafy forests that contain lots of bamboo. The giant panda is black and white and are in the bear family. Giant panda's are around the size of an American black bear and weigh around 220-250 pounds. The average giant panda lives to be about 30 years old. A giant panda practically only eats bamboo. Giant panda's reproduce around the age of 4-8 but can still reproduce until they're 20 years old.

Endangered species: blue whale. Blue whales are the largest animal to have lived on earth. A blue whale is 100 feet long and weighs around 200 tons. Imagine the weight of an elephant, pretty heavy right? We'll that's how much the tongue of a blue whale weighs. And the heart weighs as much as a car. You'd think since they're so huge that they would eat big fish. Wrong, they eat almost exclusively krill. Don't know what krill is? They're these tiny shrimp like fish. You may be thinking how are they so big if they eat such little animals, the answer it's because they eat so much of them. At certain times of the year whales eat around 4 tons of krill a day! That's my piece on blue whales hope you enjoyed it and/or learned something.
